Overview
SJTU Paris Elite Institute of Technology(SPEIT)

To respond to the call for implementing the Plan for the Education and Development of Excellent Engineers, and to prepare elite engineers for social development in the future, Shanghai Jiao Tong University co-established the SJTU ParisTech Elite Institute of Technology with the French ParisTech in 2012.

SJTU Paris Elite Institute of Technology(SPEIT)

SPEIT leverages the strengths and educational conditions of SJTU, integrates French engineering training concepts, and introduces high-quality educational resources to explore and innovate, forming a first-class model of engineering education. The goal is to cultivate engineering talents and business leaders with an international perspective, striving to become a model of elite education and a benchmark for Sino-foreign cooperative education, and aspiring to be a world-class institute for engineers.

CTI Accreditation and EUR-ACE Accreditation

The Commission des Titres d'Ingénieur (CTI), established in 1934 and recognized by French law, is an independent body. Educational institutions accredited by CTI are authorized to confer the title of Engineer, a diploma recognized by the French state. The French Engineering Diploma is a unique higher education diploma in France, equivalent to a Master's degree. The list of accredited engineering diplomas is published in the French Official Journal, and graduates holding this diploma enjoy the same rights as graduates from French institutions.

The European Engineering Education Accreditation (EUR-ACE) system was established in Brussels in 2006 by 14 European associations related to engineering education. It aims to integrate higher engineering education resources in Europe and facilitate the mobility of engineers among European countries. It is one of the influential systems in the international engineering education accreditation system.

The institute received both CTI and EUR-ACE accreditations just three years after its establishment in 2015. It was then granted a renewal of accreditation for a period of six years in 2018. The CTI accreditation highly affirms the institute's achievements in the areas of teaching quality, corporate cooperation, international cooperation, and international student exchange, fully reflecting the quality of the institute's education.

October 2015 SPEIT is approved for the first time for CTI/EUR-ACE dual accreditation
October 2018 College approved for second time for CTI/EUR-ACE dual accreditation
