The athletes from SPEIT shone brightly at the school sports meeting, winning numerous honors. They not only won the women's 400 meters championship but also secured second place in the women's 110-meter hurdles and the women's 4x100 meters relay. The men's 50 meters backstroke also showed impressive strength, taking second place. These outstanding achievements fully demonstrated the exquisite sports skills and excellent teamwork spirit of SPEIT. Notably, Shan Yijia won one gold, two silver, and one bronze medal with extraordinary strength. At the same time, other students continuously refreshed their achievements through relentless efforts, adding glory to the institute.

During the opening ceremony of the sports meeting, the teachers and students of SPEIT entered the venue with an ingenious formation, waving torches and Olympic flags in a "60" formation, celebrating the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France and the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympics. They shouted slogans: "Sixty years of spring and autumn, pursuing dreams and showing strength, China and France join hands to create brilliance again!" The loud and resonant voices fully demonstrated the institute's cohesion and firm belief in the friendship between the two countries. The mascot of the institute, "Linglong," and the Paris Olympics mascot, "Phrygres" walked at the forefront of the team, symbolizing the long-standing friendship between China and France despite the distance.
