On the afternoon of July 5, the GLM-New Generation Pedestal Large Model Technology Frontier and Industrial Application Forum was successfully held at the 2024 World Artificial Intelligence Conference. The forum was hosted by the Knowledge Engineering Laboratory of the Department of Computer Science of Tsinghua University, organized by AI TIME, and co-organized by Donghao Lansheng (Group) Co., Ltd. and Zhipu AI. The forum brings together top scholars, industry leaders and industry experts to focus on the GLM-4 model, share the latest research results and theoretical breakthroughs, and explore the technological frontier, industrial ecology and practical application of GLM-4. Zheng Qinkai, a 2021 alumnus of the École des Etudes des Etudes des Etémérietres de Paris and head of CodeGeeX technology at Zhipu AI, was one of the guests and gave a speech entitled "CodeGeeX: More Powerful Code Models and Project-level Programming Assistants".
In his speech, Zheng Qinkai officially released the 4th generation CodeGeeX code model: CodeGeeX4-All-9B! CodeGeeX4-All-9B outperforms the industry's most advanced similar models in multiple code-related benchmarks, enabling a single model to support all code scenarios, including: project-level generation, code interpreter, code completion, code Q&A, system instructions and other comprehensive functions. CodeGeeX4-All-9B will be provided to the developer community as open source software, and its advanced model capabilities will be integrated into the CodeGeeX intelligent programming assistant plug-in product, which has become the most intelligent AI programming assistant that all developers can use for free.
This forum successfully gathered top academic forces and industrial resources, and demonstrated the extensive value and potential of the GLM-4 model in cutting-edge research and practical application.

Zheng Qinkai is an alumnus of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, majoring in information engineering, with a bachelor's degree in 2014 and a master's degree in 2021. After graduating with a master's degree, he went to Tsinghua University to study for a doctorate degree in computer science. He is currently a research assistant in the Knowledge Engineering Laboratory of Tsinghua University and the technical director of Zhipu AI CodeGeeX.
Adhering to the training concept of "strong foundation and diversity, global vision, and industry elites", the Paris School of Excellence Engineers has been running for 12 years, and has trained more than 300 master's graduates in five sessions through the 6.5-year undergraduate-master's mechanism, with an average age of less than 30 years old.
