On the afternoon of August 28th, the 2024 undergraduate freshman admission education and professional introduction activity of the École des Excellence des Engineers de Paris was successfully held in the 205 lecture hall of the Sino-French Building, with Vice Dean Lu Jialiang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee Yao Xue, Energy and Power Professional Coordinator Wei Guanghua, Young Teacher Representatives Chen Liang and Kong Sijia, School Psychological Counselor Xue Jing, Director of the Student Affairs Office Lv Jiangying, Director of the Academic Affairs Office Li Junyan, Director of the Cooperation and Development Office Qi Guifang, Secretary of the Youth League Committee Liu Jing, 2021 undergraduate student Chu Yunyi and all undergraduate freshmen participated. Introduction to the hospital
Yao Xue, deputy secretary of the party committee of the college, made an introduction to the hospital. She was introduced by this year's freshman big data, and expounded the mission and responsibility of the Chinese law students of Shanghai Jiaotong University around the feelings of family and country, global competence, and scientific and technological innovation ability, and put forward three suggestions to the students: "don't be anxious", "take the initiative to obtain and screen information", and "handle interpersonal relationships". She encouraged students to diversify their development, find the most suitable path for themselves, and achieve their unique and best selves.

Introduction to the profession
Lu Jialiang, the coordinator of the information engineering major, Chen Liang, the teacher representative of the mechanical engineering major, and Wei Guanghua, the coordinator of the energy and power engineering major, respectively introduced the three new engineering majors in detail from the aspects of development background, training philosophy, curriculum setting, teacher team, learning methods, cooperative enterprises and employment directions.

Orientation for new students
Director Lv Jiangying, Teacher Liu Jing, and Teacher Hu Aidi of the Student Affairs Office respectively explained the sections of party building, group learning, scholarships and grants; Li Junyan, Director of the Academic Affairs Office, shared the talent training and academic requirements of the college, and introduced the teaching management team. Qi Guifang, Director of the Office of Cooperation and Development, introduced the application for double degree and the exchange of non-degree exchanges. With the theme of "Learning French, It's Not That Difficult", Chu Yunyi, an undergraduate student of the class of 2021, shared his experience and experience in learning French to the freshmen.

Psychological lectures
Finally, Xue Jing, a senior psychological counselor of the school, gave a psychological lecture, in which she guided the students to understand the treasure book of interpersonal communication through vivid and interesting examples, and hoped that everyone could "take more initiative and gain a lot" in their future lives.
The orientation of the new students and the introduction of the major not only provided the students with the opportunity to have a comprehensive understanding of the Excellence Institute of Engineers in Paris and the future university life, but also pointed out the direction for them to move forward, which will help the new students to plan for the future in advance and start a new journey in life!
